If hope is real, it does not leave us as we are. It begins to reshape how we see ourselves, how we see others, and how we move through the world. Paul describes a life in Christ as a new creation, where old ways of thinking and relating begin to give way to something new. This kind of change is not instant, and it is not always easy. It often involves letting go of patterns that have become familiar—fear, self-protection, or the assumption that nothing will really change. This week invites us to consider where hope is asking something different of us. The call is to remain open to that work—to allow God to form in us a deeper trust, a steadier presence, and a willingness to keep moving forward, even when the path is not entirely clear. |
