“Here I stand; I can do no other.” –Martin Luther
“The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” -Frederick Buechner
God calls each of us—not just to believe, but to live a life shaped by purpose, love, and service. Throughout scripture and history, we see that call take many forms, but it always carries the same invitation: to step forward, to respond, and to give ourselves to something greater than we are.
That call is not always easy. It often asks something of us. It may require sacrifice, courage, or trust. And yet, as the prophet Jeremiah describes, it becomes like a fire within us—something we cannot ignore, something that gives life meaning and direction.
The church exists to help us hear and live out that call. It is a community that encourages, equips, and sends people into lives of purpose and service.
That’s why giving matters. When you give to Hope, you are not just supporting programs or operations—you are investing in a community that helps people discover their calling and put it into action. Through your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and your witness, you are responding to God’s call—and helping others do the same.
