“How do you tell if someone does CrossFit? They tell you!”

CrossFit is more than a gym program. For many, it’s a community. For some, it’s an obsession! Those who are part of that community are excited about CrossFit because: one—for what it does for them, two—the community they do it with. CrossFit would not be the same without either one. At its best, the church is similar. It’s a spiritual health club.
The church is not just something we attend—it shapes us. Through relationships, mentors, friendships, and shared practices, it forms who we become over time. None of us arrives fully formed; we are shaped by a community that teaches us how to live, how to love, and how to follow Christ.
In John 21, Jesus makes it clear that faith is not only something we believe, but something we live—“Feed my sheep.” The life of faith is formed in community and expressed through care for others.
That’s why giving matters. When you give to Hope, you are not just supporting a building or a budget—you are investing in a network of relationships that shapes lives. Like any strong community, people are drawn to it both for what it does within them and for the people they do it with. Together, this becomes a kind of “spiritual health club,” where faith is strengthened, lives are changed, and people are sent out to do good.
When you give, you help shape the kind of community that formed you—and will form others for generations to come.
