1“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything but is thrown out and trampled under foot.

“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 People do not light a lamp and put it under the bushel basket; rather, they put it on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.  (Matthew 5:13-16)

Hope Youth: Shining Bright, Living Bold

SNL = Salt & Light

Inspired by Matthew 5:13-16, our youth ministry follows Jesus' words: "You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world."

Light reminds us who we are - children of God, shining His light through worship and our shared identity in Christ.

Salt challenges us to act - living our faith with purpose through service, compassion, and good deeds.

We believe faith isn't just something you feel - it's something you live. "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16
